Great selection of comfort food! I was too full after lunch, but the desserts looked scrumptious. Staff was very friendly.

I loved this place!..I wanted home cooked food and it did not disappoint! The tea was so good. An all around good place. I had the chicken fried steak.

Amazing food, great service, and atmosphere. The burgers were very good, and Son loved the chicken strips. The decor is very interesting as well. Will definitely go back, and might even make a day trip, every once in a while, just to eat here.

Great atmosphere and great service. Even better food! Went for the first time on a Saturday for lunch, service was great, food was fast, and decor was amazing to look at.

We hosted a large party (50+ attendees) for a celebratory event at City Hall Pie Bar. Complete success. The owner and manager ensured we had a great time, along with the excellent servers and bar staff. Food was excellent and the drinks were, too. I will say the space was perfect! The owner even went above and beyond and did some additional decorations that made it festive and super fun. This is the perfect spot for a real party space in Huntsville; nothing else like it!!

Nice atmosphere. Prices reasonable. Service was timely. Food looked fresh, taste was decent for price but I feel like I've had better elsewhere. Overall a worthy experience.

Delicious home cooked style food. Had the steak fingers, which are hand cut, hand breaded and fried...no processed steak fingers here!

Character of the place is so Texas.Food was really good..Chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak were seasoned properly and cooked correctly. Peach cobbler, best I have had.

We loved the atmosphere and the food. My orange and blue burger was yummy and the sweet potato fries were great! Our waitress (Mal) was spot on with suggestions and VERY helpful. We'll definitely be coming back when daughter starts SHSU in the couple months.

I'll be honest, the food is not the best. But you don't go to a pie bar for the chicken. You go for the Pie. The pie here is out of this world. I've tried most of the flavors and by far the best is the key lime pie. Soft, decadent, smooth, with the touch of lime that waters your mouth and makes you crave more. If this place sold better regular food it would be five stars and I'd never eat anywhere else in Huntsville. As it stands I'd be more then delighted to drop by this rustic little slice of grandma's kitchen for a large piece of coconut cream or key lime pie.

Stopped in for the pie and something cold on a hot summer day. Pies we had were excellent!

😃 City Hall Cafe is one of the best restaurants in Huntsville,TX. I went there for lunch to celebrate a friend/co-workers birthday. We had called to placed orders ahead of time, and we were greeted by a friendly and professional waitress. She did a tremendous job given it was about 10 of us. She had proper manners, "yes ma'am, no ma'am, can I feel your cup, would you like additional sides, can I get you extra condiments, and so forth. She was amazing! The food was delicious, and I suggest the tender strip basket with curly fries, or the fried catfish basket. I have not tried their homemade pies personally, one the ladies got the mini chocolate pie. She said it was DELICIOUS! It did look delicious when I saw it brought out freshly made. You should try eating at this restaurant!

My husband and I decided to stop in yesterday for lunch since we were in town. We love trying new places. Once seated we waited a good 10-15 minutes before anyone even took our drink order. I was a little peeved at first I’m not gonna lie. A waitress from another section noticed that we had not been helped and came over and apologized profusely and gave use the most excellent service even though we were not in her section and she had people at her tables. The food was really pretty good. Everything came out in a timely manner. The tortilla soup was so good I got a bowl to take home! Thank you Brandi H. For taking such good care of us! You are awesome and the only reason we gave the place a chance! We were very close to leaving. I’m glad we didn’t!

Cool atmosphere, friendly staff, food was okay. We ordered a ribeye, bourbon glazed pork chops, chicken spinach quesadilla and a few kid burgers/chicken strips. The kiddos loved their meals. The quesadilla was good, but nothing to write home about. The steak and pork chop were pretty good. The sides: broccoli rice casserole - mushy and bland. Corn casserole - underwhelming. Not sure if I would give it another try😕

The food is delicious, the service is wonderful with a great atmosphere. The desserts are to die for.

This place honestly has the worst customer service. Their hours aren’t updated like other restaurants have. When you call just to ask and see if they open they rudely say they are closed. They see us standing out there and can’t even just simply tell us, hey we closed at 8. I don’t know why, but we’ve tried giving this place a chance after chance, but they never change. Not that they care. Almost all these places are filled with careless college kids.

Food was yummy home style cooking. Apple pie was delicious. Love it's country style. They have a room for gatherings holds up to 100 at NO charge. Thought that was great for last minute get together. Pies are delicious. Place is so cozy.

My daughter is attending Sam Houston State University and said the food is like an old time restaurant. She liked the food before, so we went. It was a wonderful experience.

Friendly, large menu selection, with numerous pie offerings. Well suited for groups and family gatherings and parties. They strive to meet each guests needs cheerfully. Parking is a little tight so try to car pool when possible.

In downtown Huntsville. Cool, retro atmosphere. Went there for lunch which was delicious. For dessert I tried the chocolate cream pie. It was ok. Really good service, music not too loud and plenty of room if you are bringing kids.

I love the quirky ambiance of this place. But the food is what brings us back when we're in Huntsville. Steak fingers, chicken fried steak sandwiches, burgers, onion rings, wraps... they're all great and the portions are generous. Everyone in your crowd will find something that they'll like.

What a great little place. So it may sound offputting but definitely try the vinegar pecan pie. Delicious! The food was great. The service was great. We will definitely go again. Thanks guys.

Best. Pie. Ever! They literally save you by making individual size pies or you would hurt yourself. Bought several flavors for a family luncheon and everyone raved. Will definitely go back!

Went a little after lunch time. Everything was great. Enjoyed our chicken fried steak and two sides of fries. My wife and I split it. All four of us shared a piece of buttermilk pie. Amazing. Never had a pie like that before in Wisconsin. A nice tasty glass of water, must of been near 30 oz was appreciated. Our waitress was attentive and polite. Our table also had yard bird and a grilled cheese. Everyone enjoyed what they had.
